New GPU installed stuff dont work now!

I installed a new GPU Radeon r9 280x and i couldnt get power to the mouse, keyboard, and monitor. So i bought a new 850w Gold PSU thinking it was not getting power. Still nothing comes on, when i put my old GPU back in with the new PSu everything works great. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you plugged the 6pin and 8pin in and installed the latest drivers?

Yes i have done both, is there anyway that this new GPU can direct a certain percentage of the power from the PSU to it and cause other stuff to not recieve power? Is there something in the BIOS i can possibly change?

850W is more than enough for a 280x and the rest of the system

And you're sure you plugged the psu Into the motherboard twice right? Haha I did the same thing and don't plug it into the 6 pin at the top left of the board

So dont plug in the PSU at the top left of the board? I have the 24 Pin and the 6 pin at the top left plugged in at the moment. I also have the 8pin and the 6pin plugged into the GPU.

There is no 6pin motherboard connector its a 4+4 or just a 4 pin connector
