Having a problem with my pc turning off randomly while in a game.Tried to rule out as many things as i could but im just drawing blanks at this point. Here are the things i have tried.
Taking out things that use more power, like extra hard drives 2nd graphics card ect.
Tried different games thought it was just Warframe, but happened on anti-chamber and on desktop once.
Tried lowering graphics and other setting to use low load.
Tried Fullscreen, fullscreen windowed and windowed mode for alt tabbing and other possibilities.
Here are some of my pc specs.

Motherboard: Gigabyte Ga-970A-UD3
AMD FX-8150 8 core
Dual: Radeon R7750 2gb core edition bridge-less crossfire
600W thermaltake power supply
16gb ram
Windows 7

Im not doing any overclocking or anything like that every thing is just running default.
My temperatures aren't getting above 55 degrees Celsius on my cpu or gpu.
everything inside is clean. and all my hardware is roughly 6 months old so shouldn't be that
When it does power off the power button wont work about 80%of the time, i have to unplug it for about a min then plug it back in before it will restart.Tried to rule out everything i could before asking online. any help would be appreciated. and i will give any extra info necessary

Uhh, what makes you think you did a proper bridgeless crossfire?

And that chart seems to imply you dont have a compatible chipset for crossfire with your mother board.

But it does sound like a PSU problem.

correct way to go James Mason i didnt notice that. indeed 970 isnt on the list. i suppose with one gpu everything runs fine?

i talk to the people at gigabyte and have gotten a bios update that supports crossfire.and also the fact that i does it even when only one card is in and ive tried either card to see if one was faulty.

this suggest to change your psu asap. you can hardware monitor and check the readings on 12v ,3.3v, 5v if are whithin axceptable range. anyway i woundnt risk it. consider this as an great quality one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... and more than enough and can run an future gpu upgrade

any wierd sounds or overheating is an additional sign that is dying.!

no sounds.runs clean and quite i bought that one because it seemed to be on that could handle. is it not good enough? just everyone says power supply on every site but mine is rated higher than all the other people they tell that to. thats why im so baffled

Well i believe the board supports crossfire like it states, but maybe not with these newer cards that you've put into it. And maybe the chipset itself has problems with crossfire: http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=475&th...

Maybe you can roll back your video card drivers?

the chipset itself says it only supports 1 radeon graphics card.

since the problem occures even with a single gpu. the psu is probably dying

http://sites.amd.com/PublishingImages/Public/Graphic_Il...
about the crossfire the note says that although a bridgless crossfire is posible with your gpu , if it has a connector it must be used.

The newegg page for his board doesnt mention crossfire at all...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
"Cons: Specs say two PCIe-X 16 slots, implying the possibilty of dual GPU. Specs are false, second X16 slot actually runs at X4 (see this in the fine print on Gigabyte website, not in the manual). Only found out when actually put GPU in second slot. "

well any pci-e card would operate in a x4 pci-e but with the bandwidth cut down considerably. even if the crossfire work with 970 it wouldnt be an succefull one

ok did alot of digging and called in some friends. My crossfire was fine and everything else to except my power supply. had a friend plug in some numbers for me and i was using 575 of 600 watt power supply. So my guess is that at some point it spiked using a graphics program or game and damaged it enough to keep it from working correctly. So when it got stressed it just shut off.So i got corsair 850 gold and haven't had any problems. But i wanted to let everyone know and thank everyone who helped me. Keep up the good work and im sure i keep breaking stuff to give yall something to do lol
