Help making my pc run better

I have a CyberPowerPC Gamer Ultra GUA250 and it runs online games beautifully, nothing wrong with the graphics and there is no lag. When I try to play offline games like skyrim or the witcher 2 I have to have it on the lowest graphic settings to have it run somewhat smoothly. My graphics card is a NVIDIA GT520. Anything I can do to make games playable or do I need to buy a new graphics card?

a gt 520 is very very low end. You will have to replace it. First you'll need to open your pc, and check the power supply to see how many watts it is and if you have a PCI-E power connector cable. If you do then I'd recommend the R7 265 when it comes in stock, if you don't have that power connector than get the GTX 750 Ti.
