Is my CPU holding my GPU back?

Hey guys I have an important question to ask. To start off with, I don't have the best pc knowledge. I'm still learning. Anyways, I have a R9 270 Gaming OC edition and an A6 5400k in a build together. I know the a6 5400k is a very very low end processor, but my question is: Is my A6 5400k holding my r9 270 back in gaming performance, and if so, how badly is it holding it back? I plan on getting an Athlon x4 760k soon, but I just wanted to know how much better performance I would be getting, thanks!

no, in my opinion get an FX processor since you already have a great gpu. an APU with a radeon is a bad idea because the APU's purpose is so that the CPU and the GPU work together to get stuff done but now the gpu is way too big compared to the cpu component.

the FX 8350, 8320, 6350, and the 6300 (listed from best to worst) and great choices very cheap good cpus... for intel get an i5 of some sort or i7 if u can afford it i tend to recommend amd cpus for people who already have a gpu.. not leaning towards any side in particular
