Want to build my first pc but i have no idea what parts go with what tbh. i want it to be able to run photo shop smoothley and i want to be able to play the newest games at 60fps or more (Elder Scrolls Online, Bf4, LoL and more). Also would want to make it upgrade friendly for the future. Needs to include an SSD for ops has to be samsung like the evo. No need to include ops or monitor. Can go past my $800 budget by $100 or $200.

You're asking a lot out of the machine for your budget. I wouldn't go lower on specs than this build.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($219.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87-DS3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($109.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory ($84.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($82.95 @ Amazon)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card ($309.99 @ NCIX US)
Case: NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($29.99 @ Microcenter)
Power Supply: SeaSonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($65.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer ($16.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $980.85

I cut it a little close on the PSU to get under your budget. I would step up to the SeaSonic S12II 620 Bronze since it's only slightly more expensive than the 520W version and a much better option for the GTX 770. You should also add a CPU cooler. I didn't include it in my build because of the budget. The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO offers good bang for the buck.

If you can go to about $1000 then I would sick with Intel. The build I posted above would make a great system.

We'll, I'm not going to go through and explain why I picked each component. I took your budget and intended use and built a system that would perform the best for the price. Intel CPUs are currently faster than AMD chips in most tasks. The 2133MHz RAM will work great with the strong Intel memory controller in the i5 CPU. I selected the brands that I've had the best luck with over the years as far as longevity and reliability.
