I have a question that the nerds at Microsoft have been unable to answer w/o stupid queries about what virus protection that I have, how I am feeling, etc. I have enabled the photo spread version of Win 7 screen saver on both my office and my home PC's. The operation at the office at the office quits immediately with any key stroke. My home PC takes up to 60 seconds to stop after a key stroke. Now, the photo folders from which the screen savers are generated are nearly the same size (0.45 gbytes). My office PC is an HP w/ Intel 2 core processor & Win 7 32 bit OS. My home PC has an AMD Quad core FX-4100 3.6 Mhz CPU, 4 Gbytes 1600 Mhz RAM, Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 MB, I,8 Terabyte WD HD, Nvidia GTX 760 2 Gig RAM video card & Win 7 64 bit OS. The only difference seems to be 64 bit vs 32 bit OS. Can any one here at the Win 7 forum offer a better explanation? I am totally at a loss.
