I've been using my PC for about 2 weeks now and all of a sudden I had a blue screen. I found out that it was my RAM causing the problem and so I installed each RAM piece individually. I also put them in all the slots of the motherboard. The RAM and the RAM slots turned out to be working, but I cant boot up my computer with both RAM pieces installed.

Try booting with one Stick at a time to determine which of the two modules is bad. Once you find out which one it is, reach out to the manufacturer for a replacement.

@tachybana, both my RAM sticks are working just fine. I tried both individually and got to my log in screen. I just cant use both at the same time.

@elektrichead22, My bios is loading just fine, even if I have both sticks of RAM. I just cant get to the log in screen. When the windows logo appears it just restarts and I have to go through the entire thing again. The same thing in Safe Mode, Repair Mode, and ect.

linked or unlinked in bios? using xmp profile? xmp matches the volts and timings on the stick? I kinda had the same problem a few years back that took forever to troubleshoot. turned out that that socket 2 and 4 wouldn't work together had to rma the board. sounds like this might be the same problem.

I tried clearing CMOS, and the weird thing is that my MOBO was working fine up until that day. It was working a good 2 weeks. I contacted my Mobo manufacturer and they said that my Mobo is either faulty or I am going to have to re-install my OS. The weird thing is that when I tried re-installing my OS it said my Windows files are missing or Corrupt. Microsoft told me that my Disk is probrably corrupt and they are sending me a new one to re-install my OS. I dont know if it is actually corrupt or maybe its because its OEM? Im going to try out the OS thing first, and then I have nothing else left to do besides returning my Mobo, formatting my HDD, and reinstalling windows. I just don't see how it could be my OS because I could boot up with one stick of RAM still.
