Right I have finally dialed in a nice stable seeming overclock of 4GHz @ 1.35V on my FX-6100.
But yet again Prime95 is trying to befuddle me with this:
All 6 cores are running at 100% load and no failed tests up to now.
Thing is the test hasn't moved from the 10K test 6 run for almost an hour on core 3... All the other cores are up to 16K tests at run 9. Core 3 hasn't failed the test its just not moved from there.
Anyone know whats going on?
I know that there can be some hang time with the tests as background programs such as the OS use the cores while the tests are running but still an hour with no movement doesn't seem right to me.
