My mother shuts down her Lenovo B570 laptop every night. When she tried to logon today, she got the message: "usrname or password incorrect, use profile cannot be loaded". Please help me to be able to help her (hopefuly easily) solve this problem. By the way, it was recently updated to use a fingerprint swipe too. She has not changed her password, and she the only using the computer.

Something very similar happened to my grandmother's computer last weekend, I had thought password recovery software would fix it, but it said it couldn't find any password associated with her account.
i had to do a recovery install as the admin account was disabled and there were no other accounts on the PC.
I used a Linux LiveCD to backup her pictures and documents first though.

uhh if you didnt set it up with a fingerprint password to remember it might think it needs a fingerprint but doesnt have one loaded into memory to look for.
