So I understand why pple but on a 8 core CPU is there any point in of or should I just get a h100i to keep my temps down as most program's n software have hardcoded into them how many cores and threads they use and apart from the upcoming game watchdogs I have not seen any program's software or games that can use the full potential of a 8 core cpu

Any game really, as the 8 cores are weak and most don't use all 8.
So overclocking becomes even more important in order to reach good fps.
BF4 does use all 8 cores, and even then you still need to overclock to reach the intel 4 core level.
