Hi I have a iBuyPower GAMER POWER AM649FX Desktop.

msi 760gma-p34(fx) motherboard
Processor 3.8 GHz FX-Series Quad-Core FX-4100
RAM 8 GB DDR3
Hard Drive 1 TB 3
Graphics Coprocessor AMD Radeon HD 6450
Graphics Card Ram Size 1024 MB
Number of USB 2.0 Ports 4

Brand Name iBUYPOWER
Series AM649FX
Item model number IBUYPOWER GAMER POWER AM649FX
Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
Item Dimensions L x W x H 19.50 x 7.70 x 17.30 inches
Color Blue
Processor Brand AMD
Hard Drive Rotational Speed 7200 RPM

I don't really understand the whole compatibility with the motherboard issue and I'm not even all that sure on what makes a graphics card good. But I am looking for a better one than I have that will run games likes skyrim smoothly or mass effect on a high setting. Any advice would be helpful.

What power supply do you have?

I think a r9 270 or 270x would be good I have two but for 90 percent of all of my games I don't even turn on the second card. If you opt for something with more power you may need to think about upgrading the CPU as well.

Oh yeah budget and what psu do you have

It's some no name 300W power supply, but i recently bought a 630W rosewill RG630-S12 and I plan to install it soon.

I would like to stay below $250 but was hoping for something around $200. And as far as the PSU it's some 300W that I don't think is a very good power supply, but i recently bought a 630W rosewill RG630-S12 and I plan to install it soon.
