Good Day,

I will be upgrading my Desktop and the first thing that I will need is a new motherboard. I'm planning on getting GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 am3 Rev 4. I picked this board as it just fits my budget and my current Mobo is also a GIGABYTE and I didn't had any problems with it ( 4 Yrs ) but I need to add up more RAM so will need a ddr3 slot. I'm a casual gamer and not be OC'ng . My processor will be either an FX 63XX or 83XX. Any suggestions or feedback regarding this Mobo and if there is an alternate MOBO that can be recommended at $140
this will go with NZXT phantom casing and Sapphire HD 6950 ( currently have )

also any suggestion on a good budget friendly PSU and RAM ( pref 8gb/stick )

the tipidpc link is the price range in here localy so it will be around $140

Thanks for the head's up . I will be considering the 2x4GB you stated - is there any major difference weather I go for kingston , corsair or g skill? almost all of them are within the same price , and I think i will go with lower profiles if I can find any

I would not get this board, I am on my second one now and the BIOS has many problems. I am attempting to update the BIOS now, when I did the update on the first board the computer would not go past POST,(keep in mind I was on the phone the entire time with gigabte doing what they told me to do because I dont like updating the BIOS) no BIOS screen at all, had to return and decided I would try once more because they said it was just a faulty board, we will see. Other than that I really think the UD5 is worth it if your set on this series.

GA-990FXA-UD3 REV.4.0 is the board I am talking about.
