Finally finished upgrading my PC. I went with an FX-8320, a Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 and a Gigabyte R9 270x. For cooling I got a Corsair H100i with 4 fans setup up as push/pull. Got everything installed and wanted to break things in. So I fired up Prime95 and its been running for about 1hr, no overclocking yet. I also made sure to turn off any boost in BIOS so all 8 cores are pegged at 100% usage in HWiNFO. According to HWiNFO my temp maxed out at 29.3 with an average of 25.8. I've never seen temps that low under full load. At idle it sits around 10-11 degrees. Do those numbers seem correct? My Corsair Link is reporting the same temps. Is this all-in-one cooler really that good?!
I've also seen the threads about not confusing core and socket temps but my socket temp reads 24 and hasn't changed at all. Hmm, now I'm getting worried.
