Hello all! I'm currently looking to build a PC for around 600-700. I already have a hard drive, os and a monitor. Looking to have a nvidia gpu to use shadow play a decent quad core CPU from both amd and intel (i3 series) or one of amds quad core. Planning to use a micro or mini itx board. Would like to have 8 gigs of ram and a decent SSD if the budget fits well. Thank you!

+1

Are you planning on overclocking your cpu? If not you could probably save some money by getting a non k cpu such as the i5 3350p:

I think even if someone doesn't intend to OC they should still get a K as the option to overclock will always be there and it's better to have and not need than to need and not have because who knows maybe in the future you can squeeze some extra performance just by a 500-700mhz OC

I agree with you, but I was trying to help him trim it down to 700. If he can afford to get it with the i5 4670k he definitely should.

Not at all. I've owned a 3570k and 3770k before and kept it at stocked speeds. So the answer is no, I do plan to just her a simple i5 and a simple ITX and get a prodigy if the budget fits.
