Will ADATA XPG V1.0 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model AX3U1600C4G9-RR work in an asus M4A87TD/USB3 motherboard along with an AMD althlon II 645.

I looked in the QVL and it was not listed but I know that doesn't always necessarily mean they will not work.

Thoughts?

Memory Standard
DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1600/1333/1066 < Yes it's compatible , and those QVL are never fully updated.

Might have to run at 1333, the Athlon II 645 can have a lot of problems running 1600

I am fine with that. I was looking at buying an asus hero and newegg had the ram bundled free with it. I thought I would throw the memory into my old althon system as I wouldnt be using it in my new one. Makes it a little more appealing having ram that I can make use of.

Thanks again

Sounds like a plan, and you'll love the Hero, (know I love mine), SR-71 is running a Hero also :)
