Gaming build, Need some money saving advice.

So I assembled a build with all the things I need for a new gaming computer. I want to be able to run today's games on max and tomorrow's games on max. I feel as though I might have overbuilded. Any have suggestions on parts to switch out? Concerns? Ways to save money? I'm all ears.

If you're willing to go intel, a i5 will be faster and cheaper considering you don't need a cooler.

I configured this the other day, it has quite good performance for the money. The 7870 is the same as the 270x, yes it only has two gigs of ram, but that's enough for 1080p.

But considering future-proofing myself, wouldn't the amd processor by slightly faster with its higher clock speed?
And the extra $30 would be worth the extra 2gigs of vram, considering I'm future-proofing, right?

Honestly mate if you can afford the $30 keep the RAM and grab an I5, If your looking at overclocking as well you will need the 4670K. Intel's Caching systems works a lot better than AMD, and if you look at real time examples AMD just cant keep up. Also intel as got a far better L3 Chache
