i an currently running an amd-fx-8350, 32 gig of ram, and 2x 7850's (only one is used atm) and as of a few days ago my fps has dropped from 110-120 fps down to 5-10 in many games. i have updated my video drivers and took apart my pc and cotton swab cleaned it from end to end removing all dust. i even updated windows and to no luck it has not fixed this issue. and ideas?...

yessir, i removed the crossfire connector and the power to one. using the second card still generated the same issue. hooked them both back up (placing the crossfire cable back on) and made sure crossfire was disabled

no on board gpu for that reason. its a gigabyte ultra dur 7 board. after playing a bit, the frames jump up to about 40 for moments at a time. heat is still less than 50c at peak running.

this issue is the first ever that i have run into since my first venture into pc building 21 years ago. i am absolutely trumped... all parts are brand new and less than 6 mos old.

ok, so when i get around more players the fps loss gets worse in some games. i am currently playing marvelheroes and when i have no others on the screen frames stay around 60fps. as soon as i enter heavy animations or massive amount of players fps drops down to 15-20fps. not sure if this is at all helpful in solving this issue.
