Hey guys,

Im going to build a gaming pc. And to top it off, i need a good headset. I'm going to use it for almost EVERY multiplayer game. Strict budget $40. Nothing more. I need a mic and its gotta look nice. I dont want them looking like crap, they don't have to be the best, but hopefully nice.

And im going to order an asus z78-a motherboard. Will it hav good enough audio for a headset? Or should i just go for a USB connected headset?

A few options:
http://www.rakuten.com/prod/plantronics-gamecom-367-clo...

That one is a 3.5 mm jack i think. Hopefully it will work with my mobo since I'm not buying a sound card.

Second option(i really like this one):
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sades-SA-902-7-1-USB-Surround-S...

Luckily this one is a USB, looked nice and has pretty good reviews.

Any other suggestions guys?

I would say, go for Steelseries 4H.
It had decent sound quality. Clarity is nice and bass is not bad.
Noise isolation is not so good though. Will you be going for lan sessions or Will game primarily at home?

Go for 4H
It is very good for gaming.
The only con I found was noise cancellation which might not effect your performance at home.

Its nice but I can't find any of them under $50. How about Thermaltake Cronos? It looks cool and heard it has good stuff.
