Error: Failed to retrieve Target disk information 205410[032262]

I recently bought a Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB, when I try to clone my HDD (about halfway through the cloning process) I get an Error :Failed to retrieve Target disk information. 205410[032262] I haven't contacted Samsung yet, because I like to try and figure things out, but I am getting very frustrated over this. I can manually download things and move them onto the SSD. I am using Samsung's Data Migration Software, and The Samsung Magician states that the disk is in working order.

Samsung support asked me to disable my firewall and anti-malware program (Security Essentials,) this did nothing. Samsung's data migration software states that it will move your overage files (the files that will not fit onto the SSD) to another HDD in order to conserve enough space for the files you do want on your SSD, the program seemed to be getting stuck right after this was completed. The solution was to forgo this part of the program and copy the files to the other HDD before starting the data migration program, which was also much faster and easier. I am using Windows 7 and I did not buy the data migration kit that was offered.
