I have installed a 3tb drive as a secondary drive on my windows 7-64 bit system. It's for storage mostly but I have some personal data on there. I have been using truecrypt to encrypt my drives. So I hooked this drive up, selected GPT so I could use all 3 terabytes and truecrypt won't encrypt the entire drive. It will however encrypt the partition with nearly all the data on it and leave the Guid partition table unencrypted on a second small partition. My question is, is this good? Would leaving the Guid partition table unencrypted leave my other partition vulnerable in some way?
