Need help with newly built system.

Ok, so I just finished building my new computer and I had a really hard time getting thought the BIOS, long story short My OS windows 8.1 is on my 120gb ssd drive and my 2tb hard drive is nowhere to be found in the files. I see it in the bios but I don't know how to enable it.

Open the file explorer, right-click on a folder that you want to be located on the 2TB drive, click "Properties", click "Location". You can then change the location to point to your 2TB drive. If you want programs installed on the HDD then you need to click on "Browse" when installing the program and point it to the 2TB drive instead of the SSD. 120GB is plenty for the OS and some frequently used programs.

If it's a brand new drive you will need to activate and format it before it shows up in Windows. Right-click on the Windows flag in the lower left corner of the desktop and go to "Disk Management". Your 2TB drive should show up there as a new volume. You can then right-click on the blank storage drive and format it to NTFS. Once the format is complete it should show up and be available for use.

ok I see it now, but now that I can get it to read, how do I make things go to just the HDD instead of my SSD, I just want the OS on there

alright sweet, is there any way that I can make thw HDD my Local Disk instead of the SSD? becuase at the moment the hdd is named New Volume
