I'm looking to build a computer. My original intent was to put Windows on it, but the concept of a Hackintosh is interesting. I looked around to gather info about the parts I selected, and it seems they're compatible, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I'll take suggestions on the parts as long as they're essentially the equal of what you're replacing (similar performance or better for a similar or a lower price), and they're Hackintosh-compatible.

Also, yes, I know at this price I'd be best off buying a Mac and not even bothering with this, but there are three things to consider; I'm not actually buying these for a few months, so the price will change, and I have discounts at some stores that can lower the price nicely. The keyboard and mouse are also included in this price, and with what they are, that's a good $200.

what is your main purpose of pc? Are you going to keep it as regular desktop or gaming pc?
And why you putting so much money on keyboard, you can still have nice keyboard at lower price.
Anyway, for gaming purpose here goes one build that might interest you: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2WESZ
Good luck!!!

The main purpose of my PC is for gaming. Looking at what you linked, that seems pretty nice, and I never really considered a 780. Considering the current boost the 280X Toxic is experiencing, this is probably the better option (especially in the long term, due to NVidea's reportedly better stability, and much more features (PhysX and such). I selected that keyboard due to excellent reviews and the fact that I was looking for a very high quality mechanical keyboard that would be quiet, responsive, and last a long time.

Chances are I'll use what you linked, actually.

Glad you liked the gaming purpose build. Looking at gpu, gtx 780 will outperform r9 280x and is also cheaper. AMD R9 series run little hotter than nvidia. Yet i am here just to put my reviews in front of you, at last it just depends on you that what you are going to buy. So, with keyboard if you really think that would worth it from other cheaper gaming keyboards, then go it. ;)
