What motherboard and power supply? According to Intel you can run DDR3-1066 or ddr2 . If I were you I would get at least 8 gb of ddr3-1066 and a Radeon r9 265 or r9 270 providing your psu can handle it.

What is your budget?
If you have a low budget, but want something that can preform well, you should probably go AMD, but if you have a decent amount so spend, I can get you the info to get a really nice graphics card that will hopefully preform to your wanting.
When it comes to ram, at least 6gb to run games, and have a nice fps, and such.
Fair warning, gpu's require a lot of power, so if you have a default power supply, then that can also influence the answer.

ok, i understand. first off, upgrade your system RAM to 4gb from your current 2gb of RAM, this would give your system a huge advantage gaming wize; if it's a single 2gb module of ddr2 memory, buy another module that is 2gb aswell, and if it's 2x1GB memory modules, buy two more ddr2 memory modules (the second option is only viable if your motherboard supports 4 memory sticks/modules). if you're willing to buy things new, then i definitely do reccomend the gtx 750ti. if you will be buying the gtx 750ti make sure to tell me which model you want to buy, otherwise you might run into compatibility issues and it might not work. good luck ! if you didn't understand something i said, please do tell me. i'll explain more :)

no, you dont need "atleast 6gb to run games, and have a nice fps", i personally game with 4gb ddr3 and have a gtx 670 and an i7 860@4ghz at 1080p with all details turned all the way to the maximum. 4gb of ram is never an issue (almost) unless your running gtx titan black SLI and game at 4K, and plan on using 4gb of memory to game, which by the looks of it, he doesn't really have a setup like that so 4gb of ddr2 is definitely more than enough for him. and nvidia has released the gtx 750ti that has a pretty damn good price tag on it(think it was 149 USD), has 2gb of memory and is almost equivalent to my gtx 670 performance wize and doesn't require external power from the psu because of its 60w TDP.

looking at your processor , i can say that you may need an upgrade to game at 60fps ultra... actually a huge complete upgrade.

but i can suggest you to go for the hd 6670 at max. the hd 7750 because as far as i know you may not have a pcie connector for your graphics card.

your motherboard runs at pcie 1.0 so a major con... and ddr2 is your motherboards max .
i would suggest you to get 4x corsair ddr2

your motherboard supports 8gb (im guessing as most lenovs do about 5-6 yrs back)

so pc2-6400 and 800mhz it will be

if you live in the US :- http://products.ncix.com/detail/corsair-vs4gbkit800d2-pc2-6400-4gb-2x2gb-63-38128.htm

buy 2 of those kits.

you can get the r7 250 or r7 260 too ... good graphics cards.

im afraid much powerful graphics card could lead to a bottleneck and a waste of your money..
the r7 series go light on your psu too..

the r7 260 can run bf4 @ 30-40 fps at high.
maybe a 5-7 fps loss with your processor

so your good,
you can get the MSI r7 260 for just 110$ at newegg:- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127780

UPGRADE SOON, you can message me for any details because i've done upgrades to my old dell with the same processor but now im running a full powered rig with a GTX TITAN.

get a 2gb of good drr2 off ebay cheap and get the gtx 750ti, that card is amazing for not needing a power connector. You could possibly get a used core 2 quad off ebay as well cheapish and pop it in there if it's compatible.

Although if your monitor is only 720p you could get the hd7750 1gb gddr5 version and that will pretty much max anything out at 720p
