Will be AMD Athlon ll X4 640 a huge bottleneck for MSI R9 270X?
I have an Asrock n68s-ucc motherboard...
A recommended psu? Maybe something which can handle a fx-6300 and a gtx 770 in the future?

Any decent 500w will handle a GTX 770 + FX6300.

I wouldn't say it'd be a massive bottleneck but you will get drastically more performance from something like an i5. I wouldn't really "upgrade" to an FX6300, its not a bad chip but the AM3+ socket is pretty much completely dead/defunct.

I had two r9 270s running off of a i3 2320 and it was fine. when I switched to a overclcked i5 3570k I really did not see so much of a gain the way people make it out. You are only running one card so I think you should be ok just compare to some benchmarks on review sites and see how far off you are. My biggest problem feeding the cards was the ram.
