Hey I was at my dad's house for a weekend and it was running fine before that but when I came home it only used 2gb of ram (I had 6gb). I took them out and cleaned them with an eraser but when I put them back in it wouldn't pick up the display. So I though it was a memory problem and bought 8gb of Corsair Vengeance and it still wont pick up the display.

The graphics card has been doing weird stuff lately and not working properly but I even plugged my monitor into the mobo port and still nothing. I previously had 6gb of gskill Tridents and it's on a Rampage 3 Extreme with an i7 930. I don't know what else it could be other than the gpu.

Please help.

CMOS is another word for the BIOS settings. If you have your manual look up "how to set the BIOS to defaults" or something like that. Your MB manual should be available on line if you do a google search.
