I have i5 2300, HD 6450 with 350W PSU. I want to get rid off the HD 6450. Since I live in Turkey, GPU selection is kinda limited. Here is the list of what is best for me:

  • POWERCOLOR HD7730 2GB GDDR3
    GIGABYTE HD7750 2GB DDR3
    SAPPHIRE HD7770 1GB GDDR5
    POWERCOLOR R7 250 O.C. 1GB GDDR5
What I am trying to compare is the power usage. Since I have a limited PSU these seem fine to me. I made research on the net and many claim that HD7770 can work on 350W PSU. I also want to take notice on power consumption. I am having fine electricity bill at the end of the month but don't want to see a huge increase in the bill after buying those cards. Also do DDR3s consume less power than DDR5?

Solution
Sorry to say, that PSU is not good enough. It only has 19A on the 12V rail, with 12A required for the HD 7770 your whole system will probably take up more than the 19A it give out.

DDR3 don't consume less than GDDR5, GDDR5 cards are much faster than DDR3.

What 350W PSU is it? If It's a good one then maybe.

If I had to choose out of these cards not knowing what PSU you're using i'd choose the R7 250 GDDR5 1GB.

The 7750 is faster than the R7 250 IF you find a GDDR5 version of the 7750.

The R7 250 IS NOT the replace for the 7770, The R7 250X is the 7770 replacement. The R7 250 is in between the 7730 and 7750 in terms of speed.

Chart rating their gaming performance in % against the benchmark speed of the R7 250(which is why it is 100%)

The GDDR5 7750 is on average 63% faster, or so Tomshardware reviews found.
