I needed the cd to install win7 OS for the very first time on new build pc.....it start up well and I booted up from the disc,,,while reading the disc I got the following error :

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:


If you do not have this CD, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

File: \Windows\system32\boot\winload.exe

Status: 0xC0000001

Info: The selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt

Have you checked all the hard drives or solid state dives are ok
Check all the ram cards are ok and running
Then try again

That's a good thing to use
Then if none of that works it might be your disk :/
