Wifi accessibility problem

Hello experts I have a modem+router at my home.When ever I try to connect to my wifi using my smartphone It displays that I have strong signal but does not connect to it.Is there a way to configure the settings on my p.c or on my smartphone so that I can use my wifi.Please reply me.By the way my Os is win 7 and smart phone is Samsung galaxy s4.Thank you.

when you synced did you press the button on your router to pair them? Also have you looked at your IP4 settings to make sure that it is not set to a custom one? Are you able to use laptops or other devices wirelessly? have you tried moving closer? :)
