Upgrading from AMD Radeon HD 7700 with a budget

Hello all,

I am currently entertaining upgrading my graphics cards to something a little more meaty in order to run ESO with recommended/max settings when it comes out.

My current graphic card is a AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB, and while it's served me well, I'm starting the see the limitations now more and more with the recent/upcoming games.

Ideally I'm looking for a steady GPU that comes with 2GB of VRAM (or more if possible without risking using a dodgy card that'll die in 6 months) in order to make the jump to better graphics all around.

Here are my current specs for compatibility, etc :

CPU - AMD FX 8350

RAM - 16 GB

Graphic card - AMD Radeon HD 7700

HDD - 2TB seagate

Mobo - gigabyte 970a-ud3

PSC - CX600 corsair

That's the first PC I built, back last summer so most of the hardware should still be up to date I hope.

My budget for a new graphic card is £200 max ( roughly $320) so I'm ideally looking for a card that will perform well with the rest of my rig (i'm paralyzed in fear of incompatibility, haha) and that hopefully delivers the most punch for its price.
So basically a decent budget gaming graphic card to make the jump from 1GB VRAM to 2GB.

Those GTX cards sound nice though :p

Thank you for reading, and already to anyone landing me a hand :)

I am In the same boat at the moment

I have a budget of £200 and would like to upgrade to a GPU my rig can handle, here are my specs

MOBO: FM2-A55M-E33 MSI
CPU: AMD A8-6600K APU 3.9GHz
Power supply 500W
8Gb Ram
Graphic card - AMD Radeon HD 7700

Please Assist.

Also I'm thinking of getting another stick of ram
I know its 1600mhz DDR3 but Im not familiar with the (SP?) brand I would like to know what other ram is compatible?

King Regards.

GTX760 would be about the top card I would match with your CPU and on the ram it is best to buy identical stick simce mixing can create issues.
