I don't think you understand. If you want to play all those at decent settings and framerates, you'll need a new PC. I think that's what he is suggesting with a $800 budget. If you get a new Haswell i3/i5 and something like a 750 Ti, you can play those games but you can't just drop those parts into a motherboard with a LGA775 socket and a old PCIe 1.0 slot.

I am throwing together a hasty build that might give you an idea of what you can be looking for. Feel free to correct me everyone.

Please list your entire build with the specifics about each part. Intel has made dozens of dual core CPUs over the past decade.

An early thought, you won't be able to play BF4 on high settings because of your computer. If your computer uses DDR2, it will most likely have an Intel E series dual core. BF4 requires a modern quad core to play. Buying a new GPU won't fix your issue. You will need to build/buy a new computer to play games at the level you want.

True. But again, an Intel E series CPU will struggle to run BF4 on low. If he has Vista or XP, he can also forget it. BF4 doesn't support XP and Vista is a RAM hog. Realistically, he needs a new PC.

How much are you willing to spend? I think 700-800 USD is a good start. No less than 550 USD.
