Hi, recently the fan of my Point of View GTX 560Ti become loud in idle conditions so I decided to replace it. The problem is that it's very difficult to find a fan of good quality, quiet and that fits the sink. So I thought to install a classic fan, like Noctua NF-R8 PWM, but I have some questions for you.

- First of all: is such a fan good to cool my gpu?
- Is it mandatory to use the gpu plastic cover or can I permanently remove it?
- How to fasten the fan on heatsink? Wire tighteners are ok or should I use a glue? Problems with vibrations/temperures?

Thanks for your help

Most of the fans with the cards in diameter are 65mm to 75mm.

They have about, in some cases three screw points that attach or screw to the heat sink of the card.

You measure these three points from center of hole screw to center of the next mounting hole.

Take note as one is slightly shorter, or longer in distance.

Then simply search ebay for a replacement fan of blade diameter, and mounting point measurements.

No gluing needed.
