Hey

I wanna buy 1 module drr3 Ram . it is used one and has a wonderful price. that s only 1 module of a dual channel Ram . the guy only has 1 module not the other one.

in fact it is a 8 gb dual channel ram that seller only sells one moduel of 4 gb. on the ram it has written 8 gb (2*4gb).

as you know some rams are only 4 gb and single modual.

I wanna know is there a difference between using 1 module of a dual channle Ram with a single moduel Ram?

Yes, with 2 ram sticks in the dual channel it increases the speed of the ram rather than 1 stick.

In most cases running RAM in dual channel will perform better than using a single stick.

DRAM doesn't care how it's advertised ;)  big thing is if the sticks will play together, can take any sticks in the appropriate number (and with proper CPU and run in single, dual, tri or quad channel
