Should I upgrade my bios?

Me and my friend switched motherboards and cpu's. His motherboard(now mine) wont connect to the internet through an ethernet cable. I am connected to the internet using a wifi adapter. The motherboard is Intel DH55PJ. When I try to install its driver for the internet it says "cannot install drivers. No Intel(R) Adapters are present in this computer."

  9. When I try to install the driver it says "Cannot install any drivers. No Intel(R) Adapters present in this computer."
  10. That is really strange unless the board is faulty. Check your device manager for flags, any unidentified hardware.
  11. Ethernet controller has a yellow flag with an exclamation mark
  12. I searched the board and looked at the ethernet controller. Then I searched the drivers for the ethernet controllers. It worked! Thanks for your help!
