I would like to go for high end gaming & overclocking my cpu as well.

Which MB should I go for.. GIGABYTE Z87X-OC or ASUS Z87 Sabertooth ?

Gigabyte one is just few bucks less than Asus one, but do have bundle of OC features. So what should I prefer ?

The rest of my config is,

Intel Core-i7 4770k
Zotac GTX 780 AMP! Edition
Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler
Corsair Vengeance 2X4GB (1866 MHz)
Samsung SSD 840 Pro 256GB
Seagate 2TB Barracuda (7200 RPM)
Corsair TX850 PSU
Cooler Master HAF-X

Thanks

Solution
gigabyte is the bang for the buck
there a re more usb 3.0 ports ,more higher frequency rams are supported than the saberthooth which restricts u to max 1866mhz, more HDMI ports + gigabyte aftersales service is awesome ... and board faliure rate is 1:4 that of asus and asrock

I suppose Gigabyte Z87X-OC would have better heatsinks, & better cooling solutions, as it is specifically designed for overclocking, so they must have kept cooling in their mind. :ange:

That's true but when OC comes to mind, the first thing motherboard manufacturers think about is an unlocked BIOS, with all of the overclocking features in the BIOS open for you to use. They think that if you're going to overclock that you would buy a second hand cooling solution, or an aftermarket cooling solution, so when you see a motherboard with "OC" in it, it doesn't mean it dissipates heat better.

See that large armor plating on the ASUS? That's gonna keep the heat away, and keep your system much cooler.

As I have mentioned, i'm gonna use Corsair H100i Hydro Cooler to keep my cpu temp cool. Do i'll get better cooling if i go with ASUS ?

Actually i don't see any significant feature in ASUS Z87 Sabertooth, over Gigabyte Z87X-OC, so that i can spend few extra bucks to get the Asus one.

Thatswhy i'm bit confused, should i save lil' money, & get Gigabyte Z87X-OC, or ASUS Z87 Sabertooth is worth few extra bucks ?

Gigabyte z87x-OC is better in terms of component quality.

Actually Sabertooth is just a bit overrated imo. That so-called thermal armor clearly not justifying it's high price. Other than that it has pretty mid-range components all around the board like standard low rds(on) powerpak mosfets. Even half price board's are using the same fets. It's of course a solid board, but just have to be a lot cheaper.

Z87x-oc, on the other hand, has better and more expensive stuff like powirstage mosfets from International Rectifier, 60A ferrite inductors, more pcb layers etc...

Thanks for all your suggestions. I too agree Gigabyte do include bundle of features more than that of an ASUS one, except for that Thermal Armour, Thermal Radar & Sabertooth branding.

the noob is not realy a noob (..inspite the name is noob :p .. just kidding.. no offence intended :D ) .. although the suggestions reflects a pro :D .. anyways thanks :)
