you will not be able to use a mini-tower as your motherboard will be too large, but just about any mid to large ATX tower should do just fine for that build.

Other things to look for:
Bottom mount PSU
Easily removable/cleanable intake filters
Use of 140mm fans (typically much quieter per cfm)

Looks are a very personal thing. Most "gamer" cases look horrible in my opinion, but the cases that I tend to like are probably too boring or 'appliance like' for most gamers. Still, getting a case from Cooler Master, Corsair, or Fractal Design is generally going to be a safe bet.

Fractal Design Define R4 - Mid Tower
Fractal Design Define XL R2 - Full Tower

Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 - Full Tower
Nanoxia Deep Silence 2 - Mid Tower

I've never used the new Corsair cases and they seem to be pretty good, but I've been happy enough with the outstanding cases listed above that I haven't seen a need to branch out.

Nanoxia Deep Silence 5 either came out or is coming out soon. Anand seems to like that series as they are relatively cheap while offering a lot of noise deadening. Personally waiting for a Deep Silence 9... then I could do some sort of star trak DS9 mod to it... just for kicks!

NZXT fanboy checking in. I recently purchased a NZXT Phantom 410 mid tower which I think looks amazing and is very easy to wire. I would go with the NZXT Phantom 510 if I had it to do over again because I have large hands and dealing with the space in a mid tower was not a very pleasent exsperience
