How can I get 1GB or better wireless from top AC series routers?

It seems the top routers like the netgear AC1900 advertise over 1GB wireless speed, but I do not see a USB adapter to provide the other side of that 5GHz connection.

This "1GB" is most probably combined throughput on all bands.

Get a 802.11ac wifi card, will connect with good speed to that router.
