Bright Pixel on Screen

Today I've finally recieved my asus vg248qe and after running pixel tester to make sure everything is ok, ive detected a pixel that is brighter than the other ones

What is this and how to fix it?

On rare occasion I get a stuck pixel on my monitor. I find that lightly rubbing it with my finger will un-stick the pixel after a few seconds. There are other measures you could possibly take, but as you just bought it I would contact ASUS support and see if they can replace it for you.

Most monitor makers have a set amount pixel failure rate before the monitor can be replaced.

The going rate is if four pixels of the screen are found to be faulty it can be returned.
Where as if it is just one replacement of the unit may not be offered.
As it is with in normal working operation with less than four dead pixels or faults of the lcd screen.
