Internet Speed Problems

The last time i tested my internet speed with ookla speed test, my results were 48MB Download. 60.99MB Upload and 11ms Ping. Now i test it and its 48MB Download. 1.32MB Upload and 44ms Ping. I tried swiching ports on my router and that didnt fix it. Drirectry pluging the internet cable in my computer fixed it. So i know it is from my router but i dont know why it is doing that. Can it be fixed or do i have to get a new one ?

Not using the router is not an option

You can try 2 things:
1. Try to log into your Router and see if there's a firmware upgrade available, you can tell if you do need one because on most routers on the upper right hand screen it will tell you if it needs an update or not.
2. Try to run that internet speed at a time where traffic would be the least, (most times it's early dawn or night such as 10pm) Good luck!
