Intel Pentium G2030 good for gaming?

Hi again, is an Intel Pentium G2030 good for these type of things? Web browsing watching videos playing minecraft gta san andreas gmod bf3?? It can be on the lowest settings. The GPU that I have is a geforce (don't remember the rest). Is the cpu good? Thanks in advance :)

From what you have told me - The Pentium G2030 would be ideal for your needs. But, I need some more information from you to determine whether it's a good CPU.

1. What resolution do you game at?

2. What is your video card? (GeForce........) - You can check this by downloading Speccy.

It will run Minecraft good and be good for web and videos but the GPU is very old. For GTA San Andreas it will work too but not for Bf3 because it is too old, it will run it but maybe not enough fps on lowest settings and it depends on resolution too. Any game that need Direct X11 wont even run.

well a 9600 GT is enough, you'll be able to play it at lower settings and resolutions.

the intel quad is old but keep in mind that it's a quad core, the Pentium G2030 is a dual core, basically it's an i3 3000 series with some limbs cut off, single thread power is higher I believe but it doesn't get the benefit of having 4 cores.

what intel quad do you have? if it's a relatively strong core2 quad then it won't be worth it to upgrade
