I purchased the AC68R for my office and loved it so much i got one for my home. I bought the last one they had in stock 10 days ago and when it was buggy i took it back to get a new one and noticed they were all out of stock. I did a search of all Best Buy stores around me (84601) and none of them had the router in stock - 10 stores were completely sold out. Then i searched my in-laws zip code (92028) out of curiosity and all 10 stores that came up were also sold out. This makes me concerned about this router. I've been checking over the last 10 days and nothing. Either it is so popular that they can't keep it in stock, or a new version is coming out (even thought it is fairly new) or Best Buy is possibly dumping it?

Anyone notice anything on their side? When i first thought about buying this router they had 10+ in stock on the shelf.

I've seen a few different responses to the R and U designation. It would seem that R is retail and U is online, but another person said an Asus rep told him that the R was Best Buy only. I also read that there are different version of firmware based on which one you have and they can't be intermingled...
