I played Witcher 2 today and my CPU temperature went to 66°C maximum , recording to HWMonitor. All I did was change shadows from high to ultra. Before that my max CPU temperature was 56-58°C max.

AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz
Asus Radeon R9 270 2GB
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600

Which video settings should I change to lower load on CPU?

Why to change settings? 66C is barely normal temps!

On GPU yes, but I heard that on FX6300 AMD recommends no more than 65°C on socket, it's the safe zone.

Sorry thought about Intel, my CPU runs 65~70 under heavy game load

Yeah you want to stay below 65c with AMD CPU's but it won't die at 67 for a short time. My FX-8350 was pretty hot and I got the Corsair H60i and it doesn't get above 40c now even OC'd. Might be something to look in to, they can be found pretty cheap.
