I have a GTX 770 GPU. I want to setup in the following way..
3 Displays. Screens 1 & 2 to run extended desktop (two 23" screens) and display 3 (42" HDTV, in another room, connected with HDMI) to be a complete desktop (as if it was the only display connected, technically "duplicating" 1 AND 2). Is this possible with native Windows 8.1 settings, would i need to get a 3rd party software ? (which one(s) are recommended) or is it just plain not possible?
Cheers in advance, Matt.

Running it as a complete Desktop yes, duplicating 1 AND 2 no. I sure there is software that would allow you to "duplicate" 2 monitors to a single monitor but I personally do not know of any. And with the native Windows 8.1 settings not possible.

Thanks for your reply bryonhowley, Last night i hooked up 3 displays, and yes you are right not possible to duplicate 1 AND 2, the only setup i could get was all three connected, 1 extended to 2, and then 1 (or 2) duplicated onto 3. Not quite what i want because if i am using display 3 (in another room) i can potentially "lose" windows off of the edge (would be on display 2) I also tried using Ultramon, but did not see any benefit, could only figure out how to do the same thing. I also tried another suggestion of using VDM (Virtual Display Manager) but still couldn't get it how i wanted it. Cheers.
