I'm thinking about investing in a new laptop. I have a decent desktop, but as I'm starting a completely online and writing intensive program next semester and for the next several, I'd like something portable. As a gamer, I'd love to start getting into pc gaming. I was thinking about Alienware 17 ALW17-3751sLV for just under $1,500.
The specs seem great and I'd be able to use it for school work, bills and finances, as well as my own hobbies (i.e research, music recording, learning code and gaming). I want something that will last but I'm not as savvy with hardware as I'd like.
It has a 4th Gen 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 8 GB DDR3L SDRAM, and NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 765M with 2GB GDDR5 for graphics. I just need to know if this will play upcoming games and at what level of intensity. Honestly right now I'd love just being able to play Skyrim, COD Ghosts, Rome II, and stuff like that. Any help would be appreciated.
