Currently I have a BenQ 2420TE and I'm in need of a second monitor. I was looking at getting another 2420 but the 2720T is cheaper and the newest model 2420Z/2720Z has reported problems with the strobe backlight. Now, the 2420TE I currently have is 144mHZ//1MS and the 2720 is 120mHZ//1MS. So I was wondering if I should spend the extra for another 2420 or just get the 2720 and use that as my primary. My primary use is gaming, hence the BenQ. I'm still leaning to the 2720 since it is cheaper and larger then using my 2420 as the secondary just looking for any input. I wanted to wait for a gsync monitor but I honestly can't work with just one monitor.
EDIT: I want to add, if it's of any relevance, I'm running a GTX 780 clocked at 1017mHZ.
EDIT2: Starting to think the ASUS VG248QE might be good as a 2nd monitor vs the 27in since I sit fairly close to them and being that it's half the cost I could get a SSD and/or some more RAM. Still looking for input.
