The i7 4820k is 60 euro cheaper, however I can save this money from the motherboard.
What to do? Pros of the LGA 2011 is the QUAD channel RAM and higher clock ram as well as 2mb of cache. But the setup is mainly for gaming.
The i7 4820k is a good deal the only thing pulling me back is the motherboard. I even heard you can overclock them much better and higher.

The setup is mainly for gaming and rendering, so yes I do want to go for either of these processors. Is it better to go for the 2011 or the 1150 socket?

If you are wondering if I will be doing SLI/Xfire, I will not be doing it right now but in the future I plan to. I expect this setup to last for at least 4 years. Whats the best choice?

Thanks

Well I would not go LGA2011 for gaming rig like you say they motherboard is more expensive, so my vote goes for the 4770K.

I can also get a 4770 for 195 euros, so for the same price as the i7 4820k

If you are going for gaming between those two i would recommend i7 4770k. Pretty much what would 4820k gave you advantage in is video editing although some benchmarks are proving that they are almost identical. I would preffer i7 4770k personally but it's your choice. Gaming benchmarks are same, almost no difference maybe 1-2 fps towards i7 4770k.

It is fine unless you are planning to Overclock which calls for a "K" CPU. Really the benefit of the LGA2011 is for high end work stations or editing/rendering rigs and then preferably with a 6 core.

And the 100 euro difference between a i7 4770 and an i7 4770k is it worth it?

Difference between i7 4770 and i7 4770k is basically that K have unlocked multiplier for overclocking. It's your choice again. If you want to overclock get K, if you dont get 4770.

And yes, if that means something to you i7 4770k have integrated gpu while 4820k doesnt. Just small update.

Do I really need overclock? I mean 100 euros is quite a lot of money and I could be using this for a better gpu or?

Most people do not OC so you do not need to.

Not really, overclocking can get you improvement in video rendering/encoding, in games you are not gonna get anything significant. In fact i7 4770k on stock runs 1-3fps more in cpu intensive games then i7 4770k overclocked on 4.2/4.3.

Now that doesnt means that upcoming games arent going to benefit from overclocking but even if you want to overclock for some extra performances you need to have luck with good chip since every cpu is different for overclock and you need extra good cooling for Haswell cpu's. If you are short on budget you should get i7 4770 and invest in something else.
