Yea the computer should last you a long time. The only thing in question really is the graphics card which over time I'm sure won't be able to keep up with the games of the time however that will happen with just about every card at this point. The i7 is overkill but if you are okay with the cost go for it. And with the memory as well if the upgrade is free then why not right :) I die in a little inside with pre built machines because it really kind of takes the fun out of it but I can understand why you are doing it and...
For example here is something you could do

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4570 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($199.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.98 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: ASRock B85M-ITX Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard ($80.38 @ Newegg)

Thanks for the response....I completely understand that building it myself is the cheaper option, but I just don't think I have the time or honestly the knowledge to do it myself. The price isn't too ridiculous so I think I'll just stick with them building it for me

Fair enough. I really don't take to long to build if I'm taking my time a couple of hours. And that is me really just putting emphasis on cable management. I can understand the desire to have them do it for you which is fine.

Couple of things though to perhaps lower the cost for you. Lower the ram speed to 1600 mhz. You won't need anything really beyond that. And lower your CPU to the 4670k which will save you a little bit their. Of if they have it the 4570. The 4770 isn't overclockable so if you don't intend on overclocking the 4570 is more then enough for gaming/general use.

The ram upgrade to 1866mhz from 1600 was free lol and they don't offer any lower version of an i7...the price doesn't bother me too much I just want to make sure this machine is gonna be good for a long time
