Windows xp on usb flash drive

hi guys i was wondering if i can install windows xp on usb drive ..i mean install it directly on the usb then plug it any pc and be ready for use if i can , can you tell me how ?

XP (and Vista, 7, 8, etc....) are not designed to be installed on removable media. Even if you could you would have to install drivers for every PC you plugged the drive into.

what do you mean i have sandisk cruzer glide 128gb cant i make multiple partiotions? for different pc ?

You cannot install Windows XP on removable media. Your USB thumb drive is removable media.

Seems to work just fine on hiren's boot disk. Boots up the stripped down version on most of the PC's I've worked on. Granted it uses a non dos boot loader. Once it's loaded it's all XP under the hood.
