Title says it all, it won't register any USB devices unless I go into safe mode then it works perfectly, I often use Driver Max and Driver Booster to update my software and I noticed that sometimes it messes up with those specific ports when say installing razer software and more often when trying to get eXtensible USB 3.0 installed. Does anyone else have these sorts of problems when trying to get these ports to work with eXtensible USB 3.0 and possibly plural input?
Using Windows 7, and have tried using my Merc Stealth Keyboard, Logitech webcam, as well as my Molten Razer Mouse with my Z87 MSI GD-65 Gaming Motherboard, and none of them work with the 3.0 ports. So right now I am using the 2.0 ports and am trying to find a solution that works, and yeah my computer is fully up-to-date using those two programs, windows update and MSI's Live Update.
Going through the device manager though I did see that the Root HUB for USB 3.0 is having some issues, so what could I do to resolve this matter?
Any and all help would be appreciated, thanks!
Edit: Ok so after manually going to the website and looking at the device version - for eXtensible USB 3.0 I found out that it is NOT up-to-date with my 4th gen processor, so I'm going to be installing it and see what happens then...knew something didn't look right after checking the driver date...
