Hey, so I've run into a problem with my PC. I had just built it and did my first boot. It showed a black screen that said "bios is incorrect please update bios for richland".

So i went and downloaded the 2.0 bios that supported richland and put it on a flash drive. When I plugged the flash drive into the new PC it will read the flash drive but it says "there isn't any bios file in this usb key"

I have unzipped the file and it is a FAT32 so the file should be there and readable.

If your MB don't support the richland cpu without the newer BIOS, then all you do is to use other supported cpu like the old version cpu to do the BIOS update, then switch to the richland cpu after BIOS update, you can't use the newer richland cpu to update the BIOS. Check the MB support website to see which cpu can compatible the MB without update the bios so that you can either buy one or find one from friend.
