Hey everybody,

Setup:
CoolerMaster HAF X
MSI Z87-GD65 Moboard
i7 4770k OC to 4.4
  -1.3v idle: 21C load: 50-60C
h100i CPU Cooler
gigabyte GTX 780 OC
8 Gb corsair Ven..
Samsung 840 Pro 120Gb
WB black 1TB 7200
V7 26inch 60htz 1920x1080p moniter 5ms

I want to be able to play most games out there on Ultra settings. Ive been reading the benchmarks of current games and it seems like im not even pushing those. For example BF4 im getting around 50 when accourding to numerous amonts of stats and reviews i should be getting between 70- 80. Do I need to OC my CPU or GPU more or get another vider card and run in SLI, or im i just completely doing something wrong. I dont intent on going high than 1080p so my single gpu should be able to run ultra just fine. Also I do play alot of first person shooters would getting a 1ms monitor really show much inprovement in game play?

Thanks for your input.

The 780 should be dominating BF4, especially with an OC'd 4770k at 1080p. Have you tried uninstalling the latest driver and reinstalling clean?

And people will say yes about the monitor, but there isn't really a noticeable difference between 5ms and 1ms, as the 60 Hz monitor takes about 16.67ms to display each frame. Others will disagree, I'm sure, but oh well lol

Thanks for the quick response. Yes I have uninstalled the latest drivers and reinstalled them. Still have to same issue. I also see the similar problem in COD ghost as well as Black Ops 2.

Yes it happens with all games, NFS Rivals, Batman Orgins, and Tomb Raider. I aways make sure vsync is off as well as AA, still nothing above 50fps. CPU temps during stress testing stays around 60C and around 50C during game play. Im not sure what my temps are for my GPU during game play, but it only uses a 70-75% workload. I can try running Unigine Valley and see what happens.
